Reviews and Ratings
My stay at the hotel had its ups and downs. The location was convenient, right in the heart of Winton, but the room was noisy in the mornings due to its surroundings and outdated features. The service was decent, and the dining experience was typical of an informal outback atmosphere. Overall, the value for money was average.
My stay at the hotel had its ups and downs. The room was cozy and clean, but there were a few things missing compared to my mom's room next door. The noise from the street and nearby patrons kept us up until late, and some facilities were lacking. On the bright side, we found our missing iPad that was mistakenly put away by the cleaners thinking we had checked out already.
The hotel rooms were very small, outdated, and not very clean, resembling a hospital ward. Despite being an improvement from the previous experience, cleanliness remained an issue, especially in the shower area. The service was lacking in terms of housekeeping, laundry, and airport shuttle options. The location fell short of expectations, leading to considerations for alternatives in the future, particularly after discovering reputed pet sitters nearby. Nevertheless, the pub's old-world charm, comfortable rooms, and the appealing spa pool in the back garden added a positive touch. Dining options were limited to the cafe and the attached coffee shop, missing out on the opportunity for a more substantial dinner or breakfast. The hotel's facilities did not stand out, with some noise disturbances coming from the kitchen and cold room motors.
